Camera surveillance at Limburgs Museum
The Limburgs Museum is responsible for processing personal data obtained by means of camera surveillance at the aforementioned locations. Please see our contact details below. Several visible cameras are located on, around, and in the buildings. The presence of the cameras is shown on site by means of stickers, signs, or other notices. The cameras present are intended to monitor our property and the property of third parties, as well as to increase the general and social safety of persons present in and around the building and to protect the buildings. The data processing that takes place as a result is necessary for the safeguarding of the legitimate interests of the Limburgs Museum to protect property and persons. In the event of an emergency, the camera images can, within the relevant legislative framework, be made available to the police and judicial authorities to support a report of a criminal offence. The camera images will not be shared with other third parties, unless there is a legal or other obligation to do so. The camera images may possibly be stored on servers located outside the Limburgs Museum. If this is the case, the Limburgs Museum will ensure that your privacy is safeguarded prior to the transfer.
