We process the following personal data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Website visits: internet browser and type of device<\/li>\n<li>Newsletter subscriber: e-mail address<\/li>\n<li>Ordering e-tickets on the Limburgs Museum\u2019s online store: first name, last name, and e-mail address (optional\/not compulsory: street, house number, postcode, and town\/city)<\/li>\n<li>Booking of museum lessons, group visits, venue hire, and children\u2019s parties: Name and address details, e-mail address, and telephone number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Special and\/or sensitive personal data that we process <\/strong><br \/>\nOur website and\/or organization does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are younger than 16, unless they have consent from their parents\/guardians. However, we are unable to check whether visitors are over 16 years old. We therefore recommend that parents\/guardians supervise their children\u2019s online activity to prevent their children\u2019s data from being collected without the consent of parents\/guardians. If you have reason to believe that we have collected the data of someone under the age of 16 years without such consent, please contact us at <a href=\"mailto:media@limburgsmuseum.nl\">media@limburgsmuseum.nl<\/a> and we will then erase the data in question.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why and on what basis we process personal data<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Limburgs Museum processes your personal data for the following purposes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Optimizing our website using website statistics<\/li>\n<li>Sending our digital newsletters<\/li>\n<li>Processing your payment (e-tickets)\/reservation\n<ul>\n<li>After ordering e-tickets, you will receive two e-mails with practical information about your visit. After you receive these e-mails, your data will be erased from our system, unless you have signed up for one of our digital newsletters in the meantime.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>To call or e-mail you in connection with your booking or question<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How long we keep personal data<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Limburgs Museum does not keep your personal data longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes as stated in this policy or as is required under the applicable law:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data concerning a payment or reservation must be kept for 7 years for financial processing.<\/li>\n<li>We keep an e-mail address for sending digital newsletters until you unsubscribe and no longer wish to receive our newsletter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Customer Data Platform<br \/>\n<\/strong>If you have subscribed to one of the digital newsletters of the Limburgs Museum, a profile based on the data you have disclosed will be created for you in CM.com\u2019s Customer Data Platform. This allows us to send you newsletters that match your interests and preferences. You can unsubscribe at any time. Your profile will also disappear from the Customer Data Platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sharing your personal data with third parties<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Limburgs Museum discloses personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or in order to comply with a legal obligation. CM is used to send the newsletter, and Global Tickets is used to send e-tickets. Our website is maintained by Total Design.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cookies<br \/>\n<\/strong>We use cookies to personalize content and advertisements, to provide social media functions, and to analyse our website traffic. We also share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising, and analytics partners. Please see our contact details below. Several visible cameras are located on, around, and in the buildings. The presence of the cameras is shown on site by means of stickers, signs, or other notices. The cameras present are intended to monitor our property and the property of third parties, as well as to increase the general and social safety of persons present in and around the building and to protect the buildings. The data processing that takes place as a result is necessary for the safeguarding of the legitimate interests of the Limburgs Museum to protect property and persons. Only authorized persons have access to the camera images. The camera images are kept for a maximum of 30 days before they are automatically erased, unless an emergency has occurred. In this case, the images are erased when they are no longer needed in the connection with the emergency. In the event of an emergency, the camera images can, within the relevant legislative framework, be made available to the police and judicial authorities to support a report of a criminal offence. The camera images will not be shared with other third parties, unless there is a legal or other obligation to do so. The camera images may possibly be stored on servers located outside the Limburgs Museum.
