People in prehistoric times first depended on hunting, fishing and collecting for their livelihood. Approximately, 250.000 years ago prehistoric men worked with hives and made hunting weapons out of flint. Eighty thousand years ago modern men came to existence. Brain and skills are now similar to ours. When the climate became somewhat warmer, about 10.000 years ago, we speak of so called forest hunters. The first farmers appear about 7000 years ago. With the use of agriculture and life stock they tend to stay located in one place for a longer period of time. First they make use of stone instruments and weapons and later with bronze and iron. The campsite with hunters is being replaced with farm villages.
