The Limburgs Museum is a provincial museum. In eleven permanent presentations the history and culture of the Dutch province Limburg is told in a dynamic fashion. In the museum you make a trip through history from the prehistoric until the present day. Each room is a kind of time capsule that brings you back to for example a prehistoric mine, a Roman town square or a cellar of a mediaeval house. With the use of reconstructions, surprisingly real looking dolls, sound and light effects and of course the real museum objects there is a feeling of being back in time. The museum is suited for all ages.
